Be Inspired - Rhea's Silver Award

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest achievement for a Girl Scout Cadette. It is symbolic of a Take Action project completed within the community. Through implementation of the project girls build skills in goal setting, budgeting, public speaking, and leadership. These recipients then take all of the important lessons they've learned and use them to educate and inspire others! Read about Rhea’s story below!

"I created a 4' x 6' map display for the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, New Jersey. It highlights points of interest and cool plants along the hiking trails at the refuge. I love to be creative and in order to give the display some character; I made icons by hand and out-lined trails with ribbon, foam, and hot glue. I wanted to make something that Cedar Run could use for a long time and make an impact in the way they educate their visitors."
