As a successor to the statewide event for high-school aged girls last year “Through the Looking Glass,” the four councils in New Jersey are planning a one-day statewide volunteer conference on Sunday, October 2 (9:00am - 4:00pm) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. 100th Anniversary Bridging Ceremony

To commemorate our journey to Girl Scouts’ second century, the four Girl Scout councils in New Jersey will hold a historic bridging events with girls walking across the George Washington. The event will take place on Sunday, November 13 in the mid-morning. There will be a lottery process prior to registrations becoming available for the actual bridging ceremonies. 100th Anniversary New Jersey State Event, Liberty State Park

Celebrate our movement’s impact on the next century with 25,000 sister Girl Scouts and volunteers at an outdoor, all-day event. The weekend will include dozens of exciting activities, an eco service project, musical performances by a variety of talented young artists (including a very special guest) and a riverside firework spectacular just for us! A New Jersey statewide committee of girls has been formed and are meeting regularly to name the event and shape its offerings. Big things will start here. More information to follow.
